Terms
Version 1.0 · Revised 30 October 2026
The terms for using Unidy and this website.
Who we are
Unidy is operated by Unidy Inc., 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite #34347, Austin, TX 78731, United States. “We” and “Unidy” in these terms mean that company.
Your Unidy
Creating a Unidy is free, and so is keeping it: no payment or credit card is ever needed for it. You need an email address you control. Keep your sign-in details to yourself: anyone who has them can open your Unidy.
Every Unidy comes with a standard Unidy ID, a web address like unidy.me/f412k984m. A personalized Unidy ID, like unidy.me/your.name, is optional; its price and how names are assigned are stated on the Unidy ID page.
What you keep in your Unidy
What you put in your Unidy stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only to provide Unidy to you, including sharing what you choose to share. You are responsible for having the right to keep what you upload.
Sharing information and documents
When you share information or a document, the person you share it with sees what you chose for as long as you allowed. Ending access stops future viewing through Unidy; it cannot erase a copy somebody already made, for example by downloading, printing or photographing it.
Your Unidy balance
Your Unidy has a balance. It is money you spend inside Unidy, on Unidy’s own extras, such as a personalized Unidy ID or more space for documents. It is kept in US dollars, and Unidy also shows it in your own currency for convenience.
Credit you earn by inviting people is a gift from Unidy. It expires after the period Unidy shows beside that credit in your balance. It can never be paid out, refunded or turned into money.
Money you load into your balance is yours. It never expires, and you can ask for it back.
When you pay with your balance, earned credit goes first, the credit that expires soonest first. Then the money you loaded.
Paying with a card
You can load money into your balance with a credit card or a debit card, or with another payment method the payment form offers. Stripe, the payment company Unidy works with, handles the payment. Unidy never sees your full card number or its security code.
When you pay with a card in Unidy in your web browser (app.unidy.com), Stripe keeps that card for your next payment. By paying, you allow Unidy Inc. to charge that card again each time you press pay, for the amount shown to you. Unidy charges a kept card only when you press pay.
You can remove the kept card at any time, in Balance, with Remove this card. From then on Unidy cannot charge it, and your next payment asks for a card again. Removing it changes nothing in payments already made or in your balance.
In the Unidy phone app you pay on Stripe's own page, and the card is not kept.
Good faith
Unidy is built on people’s good faith and on normal, common-sense use. Breaking these terms allows us to act.
Do not use Unidy to break the law, to pretend to be somebody else, to keep what you have no right to hold, or to attack or overload Unidy.
Inviting fake people, or using any fraudulent method to earn referrals, allows us to take back at any time a personalized Unidy ID and the credit earned that way, and to suspend that Unidy completely.
Any attempt to fake personal information, company information or anything else is a serious breach. We decide what we do about it, up to suspending the Unidy.
Whatever we do, we tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Changes and ending
Unidy keeps changing. When these terms change in a way that matters to you, we tell you before the change applies. You can stop using Unidy at any time, and delete your Unidy yourself, in the Account section.
